What our systems include:

- Everyone will receive a FREE ESTIMATE by a Design Specialist.

Design: Your sprinkler system design is based on two things, water pressure and flow. Flow is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) your house supply line is able to produce.  The amount of flow available determines the amount of zones your system will have. (A zone is one section of sprinkler heads that run at the one time) Because your home’s flow can not run all the sprinkler heads it takes to cover the entire yard at one time, it must be split into sections. (zones)

The size of your zone is determined by the amount of flow each nozzle on each sprinkler head uses in operation.  For example, if the supply line to your house can allow 10 gpm, and each nozzle used to cover your yard requires 2.5 gpm there will be 4 sprinkler heads on that zone.  Proper coverage of lawn and bed areas is guaranteed.

Water Pressure:  Water pressure is the second part of the design. It can be a bit more complicated to explain than flow. Basically each sprinkler head requires a certain amount of pressure to operate.  As water runs through pipe it loses pressure. The larger the pipe the less pressure it loses. It is taken into account when designing your system.

Permits and WA State Code for Backflow Assemblies:  A permit is required by the state of Washington whenever the water supply is tapped into.  Premier Landscape & Irrigation will acquire all permits necessary.

Backflow Assemblies: A backflow is a device used to prevent poisons from flowing back into your drinking water from your yard. Premier Landscape & Irrigation will install a WA State required

backflow assembly under WA State code. All underground utilities will be located before work starts!

Mainline and Lateral Lines: All pressurized main lines will be instilled using Sch 40 PVC pipe. The pipe has a pressure rating of over 400 psi. Lateral lines will be installed using 200 psi rated pipe.

Valves Premier Landscape & Irrigation will only be installing Hunter PGV or Rainbird DVF Valves (both have flow control) unless specified by homeowners. All valves will be installing in underground boxes.

Sprinkler Heads: Premier Landscape & Irrigation will be installing either Hunter PGJ, PGP, or Rainbird 3500 or 5000 series rotor heads unless specified by homeowner.  All these products can be viewed on the manufactures websites.

Controller:  Premier Landscape & Irrigation will install an automatic controller on site, in the areas specified by the homeowner.  We will only be using Hunter Pro-C or RainBird ESP Modular automatic controllers.

Rain Sensor:  A rain sensor will automatically shut down the system when a certain amount of rain has accumulated.  Premier Landscape will only install a rain sensor when specified by the homeowner for a charge of $150.00.

Warranty:  Premier Landscape & Irrigation offers a 3 year warranty on all parts and labor.  System must be (winterized) serviced annually by Premier Landscape & Irrigation.  Serviced by another company during the 3 year period will void warranty.  Warranty does not protect against extreme weather damage or vandalism.
