Although pavers do cost more, their lasting beauty, and the fact that you recuperate 70% of the investment value after sale are a few reasons why they are a smart choice. Another good reason to use pavers is that they respond well to climate changes. Many climates have what is called freeze and thaw, which is what happens in the winter months or early spring.

The ground then shifts and any type of concrete will then crack. The beautiful thing about pavers is that they can handle movement. If installed correctly minimal settling will occur. Every retaining wall installed by Premier Landscape & Irrigation carries a two (2) year warranty, but will last a lifetime because of our detail to preparation techniques and proper drainage systems built within the walls.The block and/or caps are secured with hard packed backfill, mortar, rebar, and industrial adhesives.

Although the main purpose of your walkway is to lead you from your door to your driveway, as well as other areas of your home, you also want your walkway to look nice and compliment your home. Let us offer you an alternative. We can build you stone steps, using Pennsylvania fieldstone with the tread stock of your choice, or for a more simple look, we have granite steps. Both are beautiful and effective, which will ensure that you will enjoy using them!

Install 3/4" cruched base and compact

Install brick pavers
Install plastic retaining edge
Grout brick with a special mix to prevent shifting and weed growth
